The VP, Program Headquarters for OEM Programs owns campaign revenue for our automotive OEM programs. This leader runs the headquarters team of inside sales representatives and account managers who contact franchised dealerships to provide ongoing customer service and sell OEM-sponsored sales and service campaigns.
The role sets the revenue plan, builds the outreach cadence, coaches the team to hit it, and serves as the senior point of contact for OEM program stakeholders. Success is measured in campaign enrollment, dealer participation, revenue against plan and customer retention.
Revenue Ownership
- Own the annual, quarterly and monthly campaign revenue plan for assigned OEM programs and deliver it.
- Set pricing, packaging and promotional strategy for sales and service campaigns in partnership with OEM program managers.
Team Leadership
- Recruit, onboard, coach and retain a team of inside sales representatives and account managers.
- Set daily activity targets (calls, emails, demos, enrollments) and hold the team to them.
- Run weekly 1:1s and pipeline reviews; build individual development plans and a bench of future leaders.
- Own territory and dealer-list assignments, quota setting and the incentive plan.
- Ensure 99.5% retention rate of current clients by providing excellent customer service.
OEM Program Execution
- Serve as the day-to-day headquarters contact for OEM field, regional and national program stakeholders.
- Translate each campaign calendar into an outreach plan with launch dates, scripts, offer sheets and dealer-facing collateral.
- Report program results to the OEM: enrollment, participation rate, redemption and ROI.
Dealer Engagement
- Drive dealer enrollment and renewal in sales and service campaigns across the assigned dealer network.
- Resolve escalations from dealers, dealer groups and OEM field staff quickly and professionally.
- Capture dealer feedback and feed it back into campaign design.
Operations and Reporting
- Maintain Salesforce hygiene, call-tracking and campaign dashboards; report performance weekly to leadership.
- Build and refine playbooks, call scripts, objection handling and training content.
- Ensure compliance with OEM brand standards, co-op guidelines and company policy.
- 5+ years leading an inside sales, account management or dealer-facing sales team, with direct responsibility for a revenue number.
- Proven record of meeting or exceeding revenue and activity targets through a team, not just individually.
- Experience selling to or working with franchised automotive dealerships (sales, F&I, fixed ops or service departments).
- Working knowledge of OEM program structures: campaign calendars, co-op and incentive programs, dealer enrollment and OEM field organizations.
- Hands-on Salesforce experience and comfort building forecasts and dashboards.
- Strong coaching skills: able to listen to calls, give direct feedback and lift individual performance.
- Clear written and verbal communication with dealer principals, OEM managers and internal executives.
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience inside an OEM program headquarters, a tier-1 OEM agency or a dealer-services vendor.
- Background in automotive retail marketing, service retention or owner-loyalty campaigns.
- Experience scaling a team or standing up a new program or call center from scratch.
- Formal sales-management training.
- Results-driven leadership — owns the number and holds the team accountable without burning it out.
- Coaching — develops reps through call observation, role play and specific feedback.
- Dealer credibility — understands how dealerships make money and talks to them in their terms.
- OEM stakeholder management — manages competing demands from national, regional and field program contacts.
- Operational discipline — runs a consistent weekly cadence of forecasting, pipeline review and reporting.
- Adaptability — adjusts scripts, offers and outreach when a campaign underperforms mid-flight.
