Heartline Staffing is hiring an Insurance Executive in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands.

POSITION OVERVIEW
• Join the captive solutions division of a global insurance brokerage and risk management firm, with captive professionals in all of the world's major captive domiciles
• Handle technical insurance and reinsurance matters for a portfolio of clients, primarily captive insurance and (re)insurance entities
• Serve as a contact and resource on all insurance-related matters, delivering high-quality client service and technical support to colleagues
• Consulting, advisory, and managerial role with responsibility for insurance monitoring, control, and regulatory compliance

SCHEDULE & WORK ENVIRONMENT
• On-site position in Grand Cayman, Cayman Islands
• Client, broker, and regulator-facing role
• Occasional overseas meetings and presentations

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage the (re)insurance renewal process in a timely manner
• Issue and input (re)insurance contracts, policy wordings, and endorsements
• Lead and provide strategic input into program structure, design, and analysis
• Oversee claims processing and resolution, including claims reviews
• Ensure regulatory compliance
• Act as Client Executive for nominated clients
• Build strong relationships with clients, prospects, brokers, service providers, client teams, and colleagues
• Partner with accounting colleagues and monitor developments in the insurance, reinsurance, and captive marketplace
• Interact with regulators to support changes to clients' business and discuss regulatory updates with clients
• Serve as a technical resource and provide insurance training to colleagues
• Negotiate fees and management agreements
• Manage colleagues as required

• Internationally recognized insurance and/or risk management qualification, such as A.C.I.I. or CPCU, REQUIRED
• Minimum of 5 years of (re)insurance experience, ideally including captive management, REQUIRED
• Minimum of 5 years of recent experience building customer relationships in an insurance management or client services role REQUIRED
• Working knowledge of investment and insurance accounting REQUIRED
• Strong knowledge of captive and (re)insurance policy and agreement structures REQUIRED
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite REQUIRED
• Ability to manage own workload, work well under pressure, adapt to changing priorities, and multitask REQUIRED
• Ability to attend and present at meetings overseas, lead client and prospect meetings, and research complex matters independently REQUIRED
• Minimum of 3 years of recent supervisory or management experience preferred
• Experience in an insurance regulatory environment preferred
