Full-time
Description

From NIPR smartphones to DMCC-S devices to satellite phones in the field, mobile communication keeps the mission connected wherever it goes. As a Mobile Device Specialist, you will own that connection end to end: every device, every policy, every line, and every dollar.

QBE is seeking a Mobile Device Specialist to manage the full lifecycle of mobile communication devices for a Department of War agency supported by an enterprise IT Customer Support Services program. You will administer the Government's Mobile Device Management (MDM) solution; onboard and support users of NIPR smartphones, DoW Mobility Classified Capability-Secret (DMCC-S) devices, and satellite devices; enforce DISA STIG-based mobile security policies; and manage carrier vendor accounts, including monthly billing reconciliation against active inventory. This privileged-user role sits at the intersection of end-user support, systems administration, cybersecurity compliance, and asset accountability, and produces the data the Government relies on for mobile budgeting and forecasting. You will independently analyze situations, determine the appropriate course of action, and exercise discretion and independent judgment on matters of significance to the program and its customers.

If you like being the person who knows exactly where every device is, what it costs, and whether it is compliant, you will thrive here.
