About Terra FertilityAt Terra Fertility, we are reimagining fertility care by making it more accessible through transparent pricing, innovative technology, and comprehensive patient education. We aim to ensure that everyone—regardless of background, language, or identity—feels informed, empowered, and supported throughout their fertility journey.
Position OverviewThe Medical Assistant – Patient Navigator is an integral member of Terra Fertility’s clinical team, working closely with physicians and nurses to guide patients through each step of their care. This role combines medical knowledge, compassionate communication, and exceptional organization to coordinate appointments, track treatment requirements, reinforce approved patient education, and help patients understand their next steps.
This is a navigation-focused position with no hands-on medical assisting responsibilities. The role does not include rooming patients, taking vital signs, performing phlebotomy, administering medications, or assisting with procedures. Instead, the Patient Navigator applies their medical assisting background to support clinical workflows, maintain treatment readiness, and ensure timely communication between patients and their care team.
The ideal candidate understands medical terminology and healthcare workflows, learns complex processes quickly, and takes ownership of following patient needs through to resolution. This person communicates with warmth and clarity, recognizes when licensed clinical input is needed, and helps patients feel supported throughout their care.
