DarkStar Intelligence is hiring Technical Instructors in the Annapolis Junction, MD area.

Note: This position is contingent upon contract award

Responsibilities

• Delivers instructor-led technical training to adult learners at the beginner, intermediate, or advanced level
• Teaches in classroom and live virtual formats using active, collaborative, and hands-on learning methods
• Prepares for each class by reviewing the course materials and confirming that all labs, links, and exercises work before the first day
• Gives students constructive feedback during class and assesses their mastery of the subject through performance-based checks
• Records attendance, reports students who are absent or unresponsive, and submits final grades on schedule
• Collects and reviews student feedback and recommends improvements to course materials
• Reports any problem during a class in writing and works with the Program Manager to resolve it promptly
• Supports a respectful, professional learning environment and follows the instructor standards of conduct

• Minimum of five years of hands-on experience in a relevant technical field
• Minimum of two years delivering instructor-led technical training to adults, in person and virtual
• Minimum of a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in computer science, information technology, cybersecurity, or a related field, or equivalent hands-on experience
• U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance
• Strong attention to detail, organization, and communication skills

Preferred:

• Experience teaching advanced-level technical content
• Experience delivering live virtual training
• Familiarity with a formal instructor evaluation or observation program
• A relevant industry certification
