About the Opportunities

Our Tax Advisory Services team is growing, and we are hiring at every level, from Staff Accountant to Tax Director. Whether you are building your technical foundation, ready to take on more client and team responsibility, or looking to lead and shape a practice, there is a place for you at Pease Bell. Positions are available in our Cleveland, OH, Fairlawn, OH, and Lakewood, NJ offices, as well as remotely.

Roles We’re Hiring For:

• Staff Accountant - Prepare business, trust, and individual tax returns, take tasks from beginning to end, and get involved early in tax planning and special projects

• Senior Accountant - Prepare and review complex returns, serve as a key client contact, and train and mentor junior staff

• Supervisor - Oversee engagements, review the work of staff and seniors, and coordinate client deliverables while building the leadership skills to step into management

• Manager - Manage and review complex engagements, lead teams of staff and seniors, and deliver planning opportunities that add measurable value

• Director - Serve as a trusted advisor to key clients, direct complex engagements, develop professionals at all levels, and help shape the growth and strategy of the practice

Responsibilities (vary by level):

• Prepare and review federal, state, and local tax returns for flow-through entities, corporations, trusts, and individuals

• Identify tax issues and develop planning strategies that deliver measurable value to clients

• Contribute to tax research, planning, and special projects

• Build strong client relationships by providing timely, proactive, and solutions-oriented guidance

• Manage multiple engagements while ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and high-quality service

• Train, mentor, and develop team members, building technical expertise across the team

• Collaborate with team members, other departments, and firm leadership to deliver comprehensive client service

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting (Master’s in Taxation a plus)

• Public accounting experience with a focus in tax, ranging from recent graduates at the Staff level to 10+ years for Director

• Active CPA license required for Manager and Director roles

• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills

• Demonstrated ability to work independently and as part of a team

• Experience with clients in manufacturing, distribution, healthcare, or skilled nursing is a plus but not required
