Revenue Cycle Associate

We are seeking a detail-oriented and compassionate Revenue Cycle Associate to join our billing team. Under the supervision of the Billing Manager, this role is vital in ensuring accurate patient billing, timely collections, and excellent patient service. The ideal candidate will be committed to maintaining high standards of professionalism and accuracy while supporting our mission to deliver quality healthcare services.

Key Responsibilities

- Review patient billing records for accuracy and completeness

- Answer patient inquiries regarding billing, insurance processing, and financial responsibilities

- Process payments, adjustments, and refunds efficiently and accurately

- Initiate and follow up on collection efforts for overdue accounts

- Assist with accounts receivable management to optimize revenue collection

- Explain insurance processing procedures and patient financial obligations

- Resolve account discrepancies and establish approved payment arrangements

- Collaborate with the billing department to ensure accurate accounts and timely revenue collection

- Manage work queues, prioritize assignments, and adhere to departmental standards for patient billing

Skills and Qualifications

- High school diploma or equivalent; associate degree or higher preferred

- Prior experience in medical billing, accounts receivable, or healthcare finance is a plus

- Strong understanding of insurance processing and patient financial responsibilities

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a professional, compassionate approach

- Attention to detail and accuracy in documentation and data entry

- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work efficiently within deadlines

- Proficiency in billing software, electronic health records, and Microsoft Office Suite

- Knowledge of healthcare regulations and compliance standards related to billing
