Mission View Health Center is a premier skilled nursing facility dedicated to improving the lives of our residents.  We are currently looking to hire a part time cook.  We need someone who is flexible and available for AM shift (5:00 AM–1:30 PM).

What you'll do:

• Prepares breakfast and/or lunch and/or dinner 
• Helps serve breakfast and/or lunch and/or dinner 
• Helps serve food to residents when needed
• Clears/cleans dining room area after meal/snack.  May include rinsing pots, pans and utensils, cleaning sink, clearing trash.
• Maintains assigned areas in a clean and orderly fashion
• Maintains a pleasant working relationship with all other employees
• Performs duties per scheduled 
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required or requested

What We're Looking For:

•  Clearances:   Ability to successfully pass a background check, reference check, physical exam, and TB clearance.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and comfortably handle long periods of standing, walking, bending, and twisting.
• Personality: Interest and ability to work with geriatric and disabled residents, positive attitude and strong team spirit, good verbal communicator.
