We are currently seeking a Full-time qualified facility MDS Nurse RN to join our team at Peak Resources Shelby. We have a beautiful brand new facility located just off of I-85 in Grover, NC! Come join or amazing staff!

Typical Work Schedule is: Monday-Friday 8am-4pm. 

Our facility is part of the CMS "Nurses for Nursing Homes" program for all RN/LPNs that work 30 or more hours, with steps for you to apply for incentives such as student loan repayment and cost of living adjusted stipends of up to $40,000, paid out quarterly with just a three year commitment to work with our team at our facility!  

Role Responsibilities

Coordinates and facilitates the timely and accurate completion of both the RAI and Care Management process from admission to discharge in accordance with Company P&P’s, State, and Federal guidelines, and all other entities as appropriate.

Required Skills, Education, Licensure, and/or Certifications

• Current, unencumbered, active license to practice as an RN in NC
• Knowledge and experience of the RAI process 
• Proficient computer skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Must not pose a direct threat to the health or safety of other individuals in the workplace.
• Fulltime MDS Nurse will be required to become RAC certified and maintain recertification every 2 years.

Preferred Experience

• One to two (1-2) years nursing experience in a hospital or nursing facility
• One to two (1-2) years of MDS experience
• Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid processes
