Employment: Part-time, W-2 employee with a regular client assignment
Reports to: Area Service Manager

About the Role

You’ll work primarily in your assigned client’s home, managing daily routines, coordinating services, and moving household projects forward. You should be comfortable both planning an organizing project and completing everyday tasks such as laundry, dishes, grocery shopping, and meal preparation.

You’ll work independently, with guidance and support from management and Pepper’s team. Responsibilities reflect the client’s needs and agreed service scope.

This position supports a busy professional family with two dogs. The ideal PA is friendly, polite, and comfortable with a focused work environment where conversation is warm but concise. They bring a good sense of humor, enjoy dogs, and take an organized, structured approach to their work. They work independently, take ownership of assigned tasks, and follow through with minimal direction, while asking clarifying questions when needed.

**This role is ideal for someone who enjoys creating order, anticipating needs, and managing the details that help busy professionals thrive. It is not designed for candidates seeking childcare, housekeeping-only, or entry-level administrative work.

For this household, key priorities include:

  • Creating and maintaining household organization systems
  • Grocery shopping and household errands
  • Daily household resets, dishes, and light household upkeep
  • Supporting home maintenance
  • Seasonal planning and needs
  • Travel management and planning
  • Scheduling appointments and car maintenance
  • Transporting dogs to grooming appointments

Requirements

What You’ll Do

Household Operations & Organization

  • Create and maintain practical organization systems, including decluttering, household resets, seasonal organization, and longer-term projects.
  • Manage grocery shopping, errands, dishes, and light household upkeep.
  • Provide pet care as assigned.
  • Coordinate appointments, deliveries, vendors, home maintenance, travel arrangements, and other assigned services.
  • Handle approved purchases within authorized budgets, maintain receipts, and follow through on outstanding details.

Client Service & Communication

  • Learn client preferences, anticipate upcoming needs, and recommend practical improvements.
  • Maintain the client’s Household Guide with current routines, instructions, contacts, and recurring responsibilities so another PA can provide consistent coverage when needed.
  • Share clear updates on completed work, pending priorities, spending, and decisions requiring client or management input.
  • Protect client privacy, property, confidential information, and household access details while maintaining professional boundaries.

Planning & Accountability

  • Balance recurring tasks, urgent requests, and projects within scheduled hours; communicate early when priorities exceed available time.
  • Resolve routine issues independently within your authority. Seek approval before exceeding spending limits, changing service scope, or arranging work outside the approved schedule.
  • Raise safety concerns, unclear instructions, significant service issues, and other matters requiring management guidance promptly.
  • Arrive reliably, communicate scheduling concerns, participate in paid meetings and training, and apply feedback.

What You Bring

  • One to two years of relevant professional experience in household management or transferable skills, personal or executive assistance, hospitality, luxury service, or comparable client-focused work. No formal degree is required.
  • Strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to manage competing priorities without day-to-day supervision.
  • Practical problem-solving skills: you notice gaps, research options, recommend solutions, and recognize when to ask for guidance.
  • Clear written and verbal communication, discretion, dependable follow-through, and openness to feedback.
  • Comfort using Google Workspace, Microsoft Office, and communication and task-management tools such as Slack and Trello.
  • A valid driver’s license and reliable access to an insured vehicle for assignments requiring driving.

Work Environment & Expectations

Work takes place primarily in the client’s home, with local travel for errands and approved duties. Applicants must be able to reliably commute to the listed location and work the posted schedule.

Household tasks involve standing, walking, bending, reaching, sitting, driving, using technology, and lifting or carrying items up to 35 pounds as required by the assignment, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Success means household routines are dependable, systems stay organized, work is accurate, and clients receive timely updates. We value thoughtful initiative, sound judgment, and reliable follow-through.

Benefits & Team Culture

Benefits include paid sick leave, paid time off, holiday pay, a technology stipend, and a 401(k) with employer match, subject to applicable eligibility requirements, plan terms, and company policies. Medical and dental benefits are available to employees regularly scheduled to work 25 or more hours per week. Required meetings and training are paid.
