Camelot Facility Management is an established leader in the Facility Management industry with multiple Fortune 100 and 500 clients. We specialize in corporate office Facilities and Data Centers, and currently are looking for Data Center Journeyman Electricians with Data Center experience for locations in McKinney and Allen.

In this 24/7 environment we are looking for candidates for all shifts.

(*3rd shift = Monday - Friday 10pm to 6am)

Job Expectations

• Operate, monitor, maintain and respond to abnormal conditions in facilities systems. Areas include: Electrical, Mechanical and Building Monitoring and Control.
• Ensure that facilities problems are identified and repaired quickly
• Perform routine maintenance tasks with high level of efficiency
• Provide systems availability monitoring and reporting
• Work directly with client and/or support staff to identify and troubleshoot as necessary to isolate the root cause of problems to include standing, bending, and kneeling as needed to perform this task.
• Provide oversight of contractors and service providers in the data center as needed.
• Conduct daily inspections of all data center infrastructure equipment
• Ensure Computerized Maintenance Management System data accuracy
• As a member of an on-call rotation provide emergency response as needed.
• Utilize the Building Automation System to provide detailed trending reports
• Manage airflow within the Data Center
• Take part in daily and weekly meetings with the client to facilitate proper communications of upcoming activities
• Vendor contract management
• Assist Security team with maintaining a secure Tier III facility

Desired Experience

• Electrical and Data Center experience is required
• Certified Journeymen Electrician or equivalent mechanical/electrical certification or education
• At least 5 years in mechanical / HVAC, electrical or combination of the two
• At least 5 years at journeyman or technician level or the equivalent in a critical environment
• Excellent understanding of the electrical and mechanical systems used in a data center environment, including: Feeders, Transformers, Generators, Switchgear, UPS systems, ATS/ STS units, PDU/PMM units, Chillers, Air handing units and CRAC units.
• A self-starter with the ability to handle multiple projects at any given time
• Ability to communicate effectively with contractors who perform maintenance or upgrade work on these systems
• Excellent verbal, written, organizational, problem solving and communication skills
• This position requires lifting, moving and carrying equipment up to and in excess of 50 lbs.
