Description

Director of Business Development

Location: Salt Lake City, UT

Department: Business Development

Salary Range: $100,000 annualized

Realistic Earning Potential: $500,000+ total annual compensation for hitting goals/targets.

Classification: Exempt

Reports To: Founder

Status: Full-Time

About the Role:

We are seeking a high-energy, ambitious Director of Business Development to serve as the primary growth partner to PRIME’s Founder, Steve Harward. This is an incentive-driven strategic deal-making role designed specifically for a relentless hunter from the creator, coaching, or affiliate ecosystem.

Under our structured BD/Account Management split, your sole mission is to open doors, pitch, and sign new strategic affiliate partners. Once a deal is signed, our dedicated Account Management and Operations teams handle integration, servicing, and long-term partner success, leaving you free to focus entirely on hunting and closing the next big opportunity.

What You'll Do:

  • Strategic Outbound Hunting: Identify, prospect, and pitch high-performing affiliate partners across target niches, including real estate investing, e-commerce/TikTok Shop programs, Spanish-language creator spaces, and coaching networks.
  • Deal Structuring & Closing: Pitch our high-converting partner offers (standard model: $100 per entity formation + 30% back-end revenue share) and drive negotiations through to execution.
  • Founder Lead Activation: Work closely alongside Steve Harward to rapidly follow up on, nurture, and close top-tier strategic introductions generated from his personal network.
  • Field & Event BD: Represent the brand at 8–12 major industry events and masterminds per year (e.g., Funnel Hacking Live, real estate expos) to build relationships and secure signed deals.
  • Clean Hand-off: Run smooth partner kickoff meetings before passing operational execution and ongoing account management to the Account Management team.

  • High Confidence, High Humility: You take pride in winning, top the leaderboards, and want to build a major personal brand—yet you possess the humility to learn high-stakes deal structuring directly from a seasoned founder.
  • Urgency & Pace: You don't wait for permission or pipeline to appear. You run dozens of touchpoints daily and close partner deals in days or weeks, not months.

Requirements & Qualifications:

  • Track Record: 3+ years as a founder/operator of a coaching/community program OR 3+ years in a high-volume, commission-heavy partnership or business development role.
  • Proven Revenue Output: Documented history of generating $1M+ in partner-attributed revenue and maintaining top-tier sales leaderboard performance.
  • High Outreach Cadence: Demonstrated habit of maintaining 100+ multi-channel outreach touches per week (DMs, calls, texts, networking).
