Riverdale Mills is seeking a dependable Forklift Operator / Material Handler to keep materials moving safely throughout our manufacturing facility.

What You Will Do

• Operate forklifts and other material handling equipment safely around employees and production equipment.
• Move raw materials, work in process and finished goods between production, storage and shipping areas.
• Load, unload and stage materials; supply production areas and remove completed products.
• Verify material identification and quantities, maintain accurate material locations and keep storage areas organized.
• Inspect lift trucks before use, report safety or mechanical concerns and follow plant safety procedures.

What You Will Bring

• Previous forklift operating experience strongly preferred; material handling, warehouse or manufacturing experience preferred.
• Ability to safely identify, move and stage materials in an active industrial environment.
• Ability to follow verbal and written instructions and work well with production, shipping and warehouse teams.
• Dependable attendance, punctuality and a strong commitment to safety.
• Ability to remain active throughout the shift in a large manufacturing facility.

Manufacturing experience is preferred. Candidates with strong forklift and material handling experience in warehouse, distribution, construction supply, steel or other industrial settings are also encouraged to apply.
