The Maintenance Specialist will play a hands-on role in supporting the Facility Superintendent with day-to-day maintenance needs for the RoadDog Division. The candidate will perform a variety of maintenance tasks and complete projects punctually to support all RoadDog store properties. Must have experience in general facility maintenance work and be able to multitask, work closely with others or work independently, manage their time, and maintain a clean work area. Must have a valid driver’s license. From fixing small repairs to helping with preventative maintenance, your work will directly contribute to the impact of customer experience. 100% daily travel required, with varying distances of up to 200 miles from Beavercreek, OH. Home daily; no overnight stays required. 

Essential Responsibilities:

• Ability to assist with general maintenance as assigned including but not limited to minor repairs to fixtures, flooring, basic plumbing, patch holes in walls, painting, perform minor masonry duties, interior and exterior painting, drywall patching, carpentry, and minor electrical work
• Must have a basic understanding of the maintenance and repair of electrical and plumbing equipment
• Replace lighting fixtures and perform minor electrical repairs as assigned.
• Ability to safely use hand tools, maintenance tools and equipment
• Prep work areas, handle clean-up, and organize materials
• Must be able to complete assigned tasks and follow directions, with minimal supervision
• Respond promptly to maintenance work orders submitted by Store Managers
• Report on maintenance concerns, equipment issues, and repair needs to the Facility Superintendent
• Ability to work both indoors and outdoors
• Willingness to be flexible with scheduling, including occasional evenings or weekends

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• 2-5 years applicable general maintenance, facilities, or building maintenance experience required
• Basic knowledge of plumbing, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building repairs
• Ability to use standard hand tools and power tools
• Must have a valid State driver’s license – 100% daily travel between all stores in the Division (up to a 200 mile radius from Beavercreek, OH) 
• General knowledge of minor maintenance and repair procedures
• Ability to multi-task and work under pressure, strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills with constant communication with the Facility Superintendent
• Demonstrated knowledge and skills of basic computer and familiarity with Microsoft Office products
• Able to lift 50 lbs along with stooping, bending, climbing and kneeling
