The Opportunity

Do you enjoy leading operations while fostering a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence? Star Blends is seeking a Mill Manager to join our leadership team in Sparta, WI. In this role, you will oversee daily mill operations, lead production and delivery teams, and ensure the efficient, safe, and high-quality manufacturing of feed products that support our customers' success.

What You'll Do

• Partner with Mill Controllers to coordinate and execute daily production plans.
• Oversee mill operations to ensure safe, efficient, and on-time production and delivery.
• Lead, coach, and develop team members to achieve operational and personal growth.
• Maintain and promote safety, quality, and regulatory compliance standards.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive operational excellence and customer satisfaction.
• Facilitate and participate in department meetings, company meetings, daily huddles, and one-on-one coaching sessions.
• Support preventative maintenance programs and assist with minor maintenance needs.
• Identify opportunities for continuous improvement in processes, efficiency, and team performance.

What You'll Bring

• Associate degree in Agriculture, Operations Management, Business, or a related field; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• 3-5 years of leadership or operations experience, preferably in manufacturing, agriculture, feed production, or a related industry.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop employees.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
• Self-motivated, dependable, and results-oriented.
• Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
• Flexible and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
