TranSource Truck & Equipment is seeking an experienced Parts Manager to lead our Rapid City parts department. Representing Mack Trucks, Volvo Trucks, Volvo Construction Equipment, and additional product lines, we support customers across the trucking, construction, and agriculture industries.

This position combines team leadership, inventory management, and business development, with responsibility for department performance and reliable service to customers and technicians.

Responsibilities

• Direct daily parts operations, including purchasing, receiving, storage, and order fulfillment.
• Coach and develop employees, establish priorities, and hold the team accountable for results.
• Maintain inventory accuracy and availability while controlling excess stock and costs.
• Coordinate with service and sales personnel to meet customer needs and support timely repairs.
• Manage vendor relationships, including pricing, purchasing terms, and delivery expectations.
• Evaluate department sales, expenses, and inventory performance to identify improvements and grow revenue.
• Maintain accurate records and a safe, organized work environment.

• Three to five years of experience in parts management, inventory control, or a related field; truck or heavy equipment experience preferred.
• Demonstrated leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
• Mechanical aptitude and proficiency with inventory management systems.
• Strong organizational skills and sound business judgment.
• High school diploma or equivalent; relevant college education preferred.
