In-Place Machining is looking for an experienced CNC Machinist to join our 1st Shift team in Milwaukee. If you have experience with Haas CNC machines, G&M code, and Mastercam and enjoy challenging, precision work, we want to hear from you.
Requirements
What You’ll Do
- Set up, program, and operate Haas vertical/horizontal machining centers and turning centers
- Program and edit using G&M code and Mastercam
- Select tooling, feeds, speeds, and workholding
- Read blueprints and interpret GD&T
- Machine parts to tight tolerances
- Inspect completed work using precision measuring equipment
- Troubleshoot machining challenges and improve processes
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
What You Bring
- 2–3+ years of CNC machining experience
- Haas experience preferred
- Strong G&M code knowledge
- Mastercam or similar CAM experience
- Blueprint and GD&T knowledge
- Strong setup, tooling, and inspection skills
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical degree or Journeyman certification preferred
Schedule
1st Shift | Monday–Friday | Approximately 6:00 AM–2:30 PM
Start early, finish early, and keep your evenings and weekends.
