About ADRM
ADRM is a leading physical security consulting firm with a bold vision to be the most trusted security firm in the industry. We disrupt the security landscape through data-driven risk management, safeguarding critical assets for clients in Financial Services, Bio-Tech, Critical Infrastructure, Higher Education, and Technology & Cloud Infrastructure.
Our work is guided by six core values - Balance, Curiosity, Integrity, Respect, Team, and Trust - and backed by a team that is passionate about protecting what matters most. We move fast, we care deeply, and we do it together.
The Opportunity
This is not a break-fix role. As a Security Infrastructure Engineer at ADRM, you will be embedded as a trusted technical expert for our clients - owning the health, performance, and continuous improvement of enterprise physical security systems (access control, video surveillance, intrusion detection, and visitor management) across some of the most demanding environments worldwide.
You will partner daily with client security teams, facilities, IT departments, and systems integrators to ensure the doors, readers, cameras, and security platforms operate at the highest potential. You bring hands-on physical security systems depth and a client-first mindset.
What You’ll Do
- Own the daily administration, monitoring, and optimization of enterprise Access Control Systems (e.g., Lenel OnGuard, C-CURE 9000, Genetec Synergis, AMAG Symmetry) and Video Management Systems (e.g., Genetec Security Center, Milestone XProtect, Avigilon) across client environments
- Configure and maintain cardholder databases, access levels, schedules, door and reader configurations, alarm monitoring, and camera settings, including field of view, recording, and retention
- Troubleshoot physical security hardware end-to-end - door controllers and panels, card readers, locks and door hardware, cameras, NVRs and recording servers, and intrusion panels - coordinating with integrators on field repairs
- Manage physical security service tickets end-to-end, from intake through resolution and quality inspection with a relentless focus on client satisfaction
- Prepare and deliver clear, actionable reports on system health and performance trends for client leadership
- Collaborate with ADRM teams, client IT departments, end users, and systems integrators to drive successful implementations and upgrades
- Proactively identify risks and improvement opportunities across client security platforms before they become problems
- Represent ADRM in client meetings and calls with technical credibility and strong professional communication
- Support project management activities during system deployments and technology transitions
- Participate in client on-call rotation as needed to ensure continuity of service
- Travel to client sites as needed to support implementations, system commissioning, and relationship-building
- Partner with peers and leadership to maintain client priority lists and track critical path items
What You’ll Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice, Emergency Management, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred; equivalent hands-on experience in security systems integration, administration, or field service is valued equally
- 3+ years of hands-on experience administering enterprise physical security systems - specifically Access Control and Video Management Systems - in a corporate, campus, critical infrastructure, or systems integrator environment
- Manufacturer certification(s) in C-CURE, Lenel OnGuard, Genetec, Milestone, Axis, AMAG, Avigilon, or other leading access control and video management platforms strongly preferred; ASIS PSP a plus
- Experience with physical security system implementations and commissioning, including working from floor plans, door/device schedules, and as-built drawings
- Working familiarity with visitor management and intrusion detection platforms (e.g., Bosch, DMP, Honeywell)
- Working knowledge of the IT that supports security platforms - Windows Server, Active Directory integration, IP networking and VLANs, PoE, and the virtual machines that host access control and VMS servers
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple client priorities, service tickets, and deadlines with precision and calm
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills - you can translate technical complexity for non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative, distributed team
- Ability to walk long distances during site visits and commissioning
