Lewisville Estates Senior Living Community is currently seeking Full - Time Caregivers and Med Techs to cares for the residents under the direction and supervision of the Assisted Living Director.

Now hiring for the following schedule - Full-Time Caregivers:

• 1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
• 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Now hiring for the following schedule - Full-Time Med Techs:

• 1st shift: 6:00 am to 2:00 pm
• 2nd shift: 2:00 pm to 10:00 pm
• 3rd shift: 10:00 pm to 6:00 am

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for supervision of self-administered medication for the Assisted Living Department in compliance with Federal & State regulations as directed by the LPN/LVN and/or the Assisted Living Director.
• Caring for the residents as if they were an extension of your own family.
• Assisting residents with Activities of Daily Living (bathing, dressing, toileting).
• Assisting some residents with Ambulation and Transferring.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Measures and records height and weight. Calculates and records fluid intake and output.
• Recognizes abnormal changes in body functioning and the importance of reporting such changes to a supervisor.
• Provides emotional and social support to residents.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Previous experience as a caregiver required.
• Previous experience as a med tech required.
• Previous experience working with the Senior Living Community preferred.
• Caregiver Certification and/or Medication Aide Certification preferred.
• A high school diploma or equivalent (GED).
