The Transportation Driver reports directly to the Transportation Coordinator. Transports enrolled individuals to and from service location.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

Responsible for safely transporting enrolled individuals to and from service location daily

Maintain order on vehicle

Responsible for keeping vehicle clean

Responsible for documenting required maintenance on vehicle

Responsible for correctly filling out mileage/billing sheets

Responsible for checking individuals on and off vehicle

Responsible for making sure no individuals are left on the vehicle at the end of the route

Responsible for delivering individual to responsible person

Responsible for physically walking interior length of bus/van in morning and afternoon to make sure all passengers are off

Needs to ensure assigned van is kept clean at all times

Other duties as assigned

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

Must be able to communicate effectively with parents

Must be physically strong to assist disabled individuals

Minimum Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or GED

Must have a valid Arkansas driver’s license, and good driving record

Must be 25 years of age or older per insurance recommendation
