The Bishop of Manchester is the visible principle and foundation of unity in the particular diocese entrusted to him. In a unique and visible way, he makes Christ’s mission present and enduring as Shepherd of the Christian Community. All employees of the diocesan administration assist the Bishop of Manchester in serving the parishes, schools and institutions of the Catholic Church in New Hampshire.

This is a Full-Time position reporting to the Executive Director of Camping Services,

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Camp Fatima is a Catholic summer camp for boys ages 6–15 and home to Special Needs Week. The Resident Director leads Camp Fatima year-round as a joyfully Catholic community, following the Preventive System of St. John Bosco. This position also serves as the staff recruiter for Camp Fatima, Camp Bernadette, and Special Needs Week. In the off season, staff recruitment is the primary focus of the role: the Resident Director works closely and collaboratively with the Executive Director, the Camp Bernadette Resident Director, and others in the camps’ office to recruit, hire, and form staff, develop programs, and build relationships with Camp Fatima families.

During the summer season, this position lives at camp and is responsible for all operational functions of Camp Fatima for Boys, including Special Needs Week.

As staff recruiter, this position sources candidates for Camp Bernadette; the Camp Bernadette Resident Director screens and hires Camp Bernadette staff.
