You can contribute and have an impact by…

• Installing, configuring, testing, and troubleshooting equipment such as two-way radio, intercom, and antennas
• Running cables in both vehicles and buildings. 
• Being clean, labeling, and managing parts and cable in an aesthetic way that makes things easier to service in the future.
• Ensuring parts are inventoried and assembled for projects prior to scheduled work
• Properly documenting and completing tickets.
• Representing BAYCOM in a positive and professional manner

Your Knowledge and Skills...

• An interest in electronics. A willingness to open a manual and figure out how something works.
• Being able to systematically troubleshoot and document.
• A willingness to get dirty, scratched up, and squeeze into small spaces. Installs are often on (and under) used emergency vehicles or in cobwebby basements
• Able to work directly with customers, explain problems and solutions in an understandable and respectful way.
• Able to work on a lift or ladder
• Ability to solder well is a plus
• Knowledge of vehicle electronics and two-way radio is a plus
