Vineyard Hills Health Center is seeking an experienced and dedicated Certified Dietary Manager to join our Nutritional Services team.

Key Responsibilities

•  Plan, organize, develop, and direct the overall operation of the dietary department.
• Oversee meal planning, preparation, service, sanitation, and food safety practices.
• Ensure dietary services comply with applicable federal, state, and local regulations, including requirements applicable to Skilled Nursing and Assisted Living facilities.
• Monitor food quality, portion control, presentation, and resident satisfaction.
•  Coordinate with nursing and other members of the interdisciplinary team regarding residents' nutritional needs, preferences, and dietary restrictions.
•  Oversee dietary staff scheduling, training, performance, and daily operations.
• Maintain appropriate records and documentation.
• Monitor inventory, ordering, food costs, and supplies.
•  Participate in quality assurance and performance improvement activities.
•  Promote a positive, professional, and team-oriented work environment.
•  Respond to resident concerns and work collaboratively to resolve dietary-related issues.
• This job requires frequent standing, sitting, bending, twisting, walking.

•  Experience: One year as a dietary manager (SNF setting preferred), six (6) months of supervisory experience in dietary management, completion of state approved “Serve Safe” program.
• Education: High school diploma or equivalent required, Bachelor Degree preferred, completion of CDM program or must be willing to complete CDM program within 6 months of hire. 
• Clearances: Ability to successfully pass background, physical, and TB checks.
• Schedule: Monday - Friday with weekend availability.
