Member Relationship Specialist I (Teller)

Job Range: $17.41 - $21.76/hour

Shift: 8:45 am - 5:15 pm,  Monday - Friday

You’ll do more than process transactions. You’ll get to know our members, understand what they’re trying to accomplish, and connect them with solutions that can help. What You’ll Do

• Welcome members and build genuine relationships through friendly, personalized service
• Help with everyday banking needs, including deposits, withdrawals, payments, accounts, cards, and digital banking
• Listen to members, answer questions, solve problems, and provide clear guidance when they need support
• Learn about members’ financial needs and connect them with products, services, and resources that may help
• Maintain accuracy while supporting transactions, cash handling, balancing, and other branch operations
• Work alongside your teammates to create a positive, collaborative branch experience for every member

What You’ll Bring

• A high school diploma or equivalent
• Customer service, sales, or financial services experience is preferred
• A natural ability to connect with people, listen well, and build trusting relationships
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills
• Attention to detail and comfort working with numbers, computers, and new technology
• The ability to stay organized and provide great service while managing multiple priorities
• Spanish-English bilingual proficiency is preferred for member-facing positions at our Holland and Zeeland branches
• Customer Service Experience 
• Credit Union, Banking, or Financial Institution experience is a plus!
