Rockville, MD • Wood Coating Retail
Job Type
Full-time
Description

Monday- Friday, 8am-5pm workweek.

PSE Group is seeking an experienced Store Manager to lead our Industrial Wood Coatings store, Pro Wood Finishes in Rockville, Maryland. If you know wood stains and finishes, enjoy building and developing a strong team, and take pride in keeping customers supplied and satisfied, this is an opportunity to put your expertise to work. As Store Manager, you will serve professional customers in the Industrial Wood Coatings market, as well as walk-in customers  (about 25% of the store's customers), and be responsible for leading and profitably managing all aspects of your store, including employees, customers, inventory, and facility. You will partner closely with the Regional Manager and Operations Team and be supported by the product training and resources of a nationwide team of coatings specialists.

WHY THIS ROLE?

  • Lead your own store: own the day-to-day direction of your store, including its team, customers, inventory, and results.
  • Put your wood coatings expertise to work: advise professional customers on products, color, and application, and be the go-to resource for their finishing needs.
  • Build and develop a team: hire, train, coach, and grow the people who deliver outstanding service every day.

COMING FROM A DIFFERENT INDUSTRY?  YOU MAY BE A GREAT FIT.

You don't need to be a wood finishing veteran to succeed here. If you've managed a busy counter, large diverse inventory, and a team, we want to talk to you.  This role is a natural next step for:
