Eastern Metal Framing Galaxy, an affiliated company of Super Stud Building Products based in Edison, NJ, is looking for a motivated and reliable CNC Programmer to add to our engineering team. As the CNC Programmer, you will work with our engineering and manufacturing team to deliver a high-quality hollow metal door and frame system in the most profitable manner possible. 

Reports to: Engineering Manager

Job Functions

1) Create G-Code files using in-house CAM software to Run CNC machines.

2) Support manufacturing to trouble shoot variances from programming to production. 

3) Draw and detail shop drawings for products and submit for approval to customers. 

4) Participate in continual improvement projects.

5) Support Production to ensure accuracy and efficiency.

Project Management: 

· Coordinate with manufacturing to ensure programming accuracy.

-  Review all assigned jobs for accuracy.

· Update Sales Log daily.

  Qualifications: 

1) Associate degree in Engineering or equivalent: Mechanical aptitude

2) Ability to read and interpret Blueprints, and drawings

3) Knowledge of basic math and trigonometry

4) Desire to learn

5) Knowledge of AutoCAD preferred

6) Knowledge of CNC programming preferred

7) Review all assigned listings for accuracy.

8) Detail oriented.

9) Ability to communicate effectively in English.
