What You’ll Do

• Manage full-cycle recruiting for assigned positions, including sourcing, screening, interviews, offers, and pre-employment steps.

• Partner with hiring managers to understand staffing needs and find the right candidates.

• Coordinate onboarding and lead new-hire orientation.

• Be a resource for employees with questions about policies, benefits, leaves, and other HR topics.

• Support supervisors and managers with day-to-day employee relations matters.

• Administer leaves of absence, including FMLA, disability, and workers’ compensation.

• Maintain accurate employee records and information in our HR systems.

• Coordinate employee training, HR events, and other department activities.

• Support employee engagement, wellness, and recognition efforts.

• Help identify ways to improve HR processes and the overall employee experience.

• Working knowledge of HR practices and employment laws, including FMLA, workers’ compensation, EEO, I-9 requirements, and wage and hour laws.

• Experience with an applicant tracking system and an HRIS. Paylocity experience is a plus.

• Strong communication and people skills, and a reputation for following through.

• The ability to stay organized while managing multiple openings, leave cases, deadlines, and employee needs.

• Good judgment and the ability to handle confidential information appropriately.

• An associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field, or equivalent experience.

• Manufacturing experience is a plus.

• aPHR or SHRM-CP certification is a plus, but not required.
