Position description
The Sales Coordinator at Practice Greenhealth will support the Growth team by coordinating sales activities, maintaining accurate customer and pipeline information, and ensuring a seamless experience throughout the sales process. Serving as a foundational operational partner to the sales team, this role helps accelerate pipeline momentum and deepen engagement across both our Provider Member (hospitals and healthcare systems) and Industry Partner (sustainable healthcare suppliers and business innovators) programs.
Primary Objectives
- Support the sales and business development team by coordinating day-to-day sales workflows, driving disciplined follow-up cadences, maintaining accurate pipeline tracking, and keeping deals moving forward.
- Play a hands-on role in list building and smaller sales opportunities, taking ownership of select deals (including CleanMed Exhibitorships and targeted partner tiers) from initial outreach through close.
- Help organize and tee up complex enterprise deals by preparing tailored materials, scheduling meetings, gathering prospect research, tracking action items, and ensuring sales leaders have what they need to advance high-stakes opportunities.
- Build meaningful relationships with prospective and renewing members, delivering a responsive, high-touch experience that connects organizations to Practice Greenhealth’s mission, resources, and community.
- Maintain exceptional data hygiene in the CRM, supporting the organization’s active adoption and optimization of Salesforce.
- Bring a mission-driven, collaborative mindset to the role, with a passion for driving healthcare sustainability and environmental health equity.
Essential Functions
Sales Operations & CRM Management
- Maintain and update sales data, pipeline milestones, and member records in the CRM, supporting the Growth team’s active transition to and optimization of Salesforce, while preserving data integrity for departmental KPI/OKR reporting.
- Administer day-to-day sales workflows, schedule discovery calls, prepare agendas, log prospect interactions, and manage follow-up cadences across all stages of the sales lifecycle.
- Support pipeline visibility by generating standard activity summaries, dashboard updates, and revenue forecasting aids for the Director of Business Development & Impact.
- Champion data hygiene by routinely de-duplicating records, auditing contact lists, and updating account details.
Direct Sales, Prospecting & Account Execution
- Drive targeted list generation and outbound prospecting research across health systems and prospective industry partners to build top-of-funnel pipelines.
- Manage select small-to-midsize sales cycles end-to-end—including CleanMed Exhibitorship sales and introductory membership packages—leading outreach, presenting value propositions, and closing agreements.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for routine inbound inquiries, evaluating mission fit, providing tailored program details, and routing qualified opportunities appropriately.
- Conduct initial organizational research to qualify inbound and outbound leads before briefing and scheduling meetings for senior sales leaders.
Sales Enablement & Deal Support
- Support senior business development leadership on high-stakes, multi-site health system deals by compiling institutional research, customizing pitch decks, and assembling collateral.
- Partner with Communications, Marketing, and Solutions teams to maintain up-to-date sales collateral, prospectus packages, case studies, and presentation assets.
- Draft formal proposals, partnership agreements, scope-of-work summaries, and price quotes under the direction of sales leadership.
- Collaborate closely with the Network Growth & Partner Services Manager to track agreement progression, initiate billing/purchase order requests, and ensure seamless handoffs between contracting and invoice distribution.
Member Experience & Cross-Functional Coordination
- Deliver a responsive, high-touch experience for prospective and renewing members, serving as an approachable, knowledgeable guide to Practice Greenhealth’s mission and offerings.
- Coordinate cross-functional transitions from contract signing to kickoff, working with the Network Growth & Partner Services Manager on initial invoicing and with the Member Solutions team (Relationship Managers / Sustainability Solutions Managers) for long-term onboarding.
- Assist with member retention and engagement touchpoints, including CleanMed sponsor logistics, survey distributions, and gathering prospect feedback to refine outreach strategies.
Qualifications
- Experience (Required): 1–3 years of professional experience in sales support, sales operations, lead prospecting, customer success, or consultative business development.
- Experience (Preferred): Familiarity working in membership associations, healthcare organizations, environmental sustainability nonprofits, or B2B partner programs.
- Systems & Tools: Hands-on experience working in a CRM system (Salesforce preferred; experience navigating a CRM migration or implementation is an asset); proficiency in Google Workspace and Microsoft Office.
- Education: BA/BS in Business, Communications, Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline (or equivalent practical work experience).
What’s In It For You?
- Join an organization where your colleagues share a profound commitment to the mission, and a global network of partners work collaboratively to support it.
- Play a vital role in helping drive growth, influence impact, and further advance our efforts to create a more sustainable health care sector and planet.
