Overall Responsibility 

This position will act as machine operator team lead, manage daily production plan on the machine and set-up and maintain the daily blend sheet. This position reports to the Production Supervisor. 

Key areas of Responsibility

· Lead the machine operators in the safe and efficient operation of machinery in accordance with established Good  

  Manufacturing Practices and established procedures to ensure on time production which meets or exceeds established 

  standards for quality. 

· Reconcile loader consumption vs system inputs

· Input farmer grade out information 

· Participate in inventory control 

· Form blending plan for runs based on availability of product and materials

· Manage the daily production plan and efficiently run the machine based on plan and available egg mix.

· Carton inventory management

· Check the board daily for date codes and accuracy

· Daily machine set up and clean up

· Date code setup, ensuring cartons are printed with correct date codes 

· Coordinate production based on daily production plan, adjust as necessary during the day and communicate changes to team 

  members

· Manage flow of eggs via computer touch screen

· Keep work area clean at all times. Clean up egg matter and other debris when time allows and always prior to any breaks

· Assist co-workers as needed - teamwork

· Attend safety training, use PPE as required and put safe practices into place every day, ensuring other team members follow 

  established rules

· Ensure compliance with Food Safety and GMP requirements at all times 

· Train and mentor new team members

· Enter data into computer systems

· All issues or non-conformances related to quality assurance or food safety must immediately be reported to the Quality 

  Assurance Manager or departmental supervisor/manager for communication with the Quality Assurance Manager.

Qualifications & Education Requirements

· High School Diploma or equivalent

· Leadership experience in a production environment preferred

· Proficient with basic math

· Basic computer competency

Physical Requirements  

• Able to lift a minimum of 50 pounds
• Stand on your feet for extended periods of time
