FOOD SERVICES SUPERVISOR - Wilson Care

Wilson Care, a Specialized Mental Health Rehabilitation Facility in the Uptown Neighborhood of Chicago, Seeks a Full Time Food Services Supervisor.

Hours will Vary; Weekend On Call Duties Required

Responsibilities of the Food Services Supervisor:

• Ensure the use of standardized recipes in food preparation
• Establish dietary policies in conjunction with the Dietary Consultant and Registered Dietition
• Assessments and nutritional charting
• Supervise staff, including scheduling
• Order all food and kitchen supplies
• Supervise the receipt and storage of kitchen deliveries
• Oversee and control food and labor costs
• Maintain an organized, safe storage room

of the Food Services Supervisor:

• CDM (Certified Dietary Manager) Certification required
• Knowledge of JCAHO, IDPH, OSHA, CDPH policies in relation to food service
• Food Services experience in a long-term care and/or healthcare facility serving vulnerable populations
• Experience as a supervisor required, preferably in food service
• Strong administrative, managerial and interpersonal skills
• Maintain confidentiality of residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA
• Must have compassion, tolerance and understanding for adults with psychiatric disorders
