Job Title: Housekeeper Reports to: Head Housekeeper

Description: Provide guests with a clean and enjoyable lodging experience.

Responsibilities:

-Clean and maintain guest units while keeping up with standards set by the Inn, AAA and Select

Registry

-Report any maintenance issues to Manager

-Assist guests with all questions and reasonable requests

-Report all maintenance and safety incidents and hazards to manager

-Ensures all linen and towelling used for guests are clean with no stains, rips or tears. Follows

departmental procedure for identifying damaged linen/towelling and its removal from circulation.

-Provide excellent room presentation

-Replace room linens/towels

-Provide thorough cleaning of room with head housekeeper guidelines

-Maintains a high standard of hygiene on the property

-Maintain a clean and safe working area

-Uphold all health code regulations

General:

-Communicates issues, concerns, complaints, compliments and suggestions to your manager, and not to other associates, guests, etc.

-Perform other duties as assigned by management

Dress Code:

-Company providesTHI polo shirt after training period

-Employee is responsible for black, navy blue, khaki, white or denim pants or shorts (no jogging pants including sweat, yoga or spandex pants) (no writing or logos), sneakers

-Work standing for extended periods

-Kneel, crouch, crawl

-Work around chemical cleaning solutions

-Operating knowledge for cleaning equipment

-Ability to lift and/or move furniture

-Ability to lift and move laundry (50 lbs)

-Must be energetic and self motivated

-Weekends and holidays a must
