Position Overview:
The Residential Therapist(RT) will provide clinical expertise to Aquila of Delaware, Inc. Residential Programs. The (RT) is responsible for working with multidisciplinary treatment teams for delivery of effective person centered treatment services to person served under the supervision of a clinical supervisor. The RT is effective clinician with experience in providing a variety of clinical services to persons with substance use and mental health disorders, including the development of comprehensive assessments and treatment plans, delivery of a wide rage of clinical and supportive services, and working collaboratively with the treatment team and other service providers. The RT utilizes evidence - based practices in regards to licensure and contractual requirements.
Educational Requirements
Masters Degree or Bachelor's Degree with a major in chemical dependency, psychology, social worker, counseling or human services field from an accredited college or university.
Full Certification as a Certified Drug and Alcohol counselor(CADC) or working towards full certification
5 five years of clinical experience in th substance use field.
