We’re looking for our next Facilities Maintenance Manager (FMM). This is a full time, salaried position with health/dental/vision insurance, 401k and paid time off. In addition, you’ll have 24/7 use of our company truck, a gas card and cell phone.

Fortney Companies is a family owned, La Crosse, WI based company in the hospitality and multi-unit commercial/residential property space. Our FMM executes or manages maintenance needs for all our properties around La Crosse.  Short-term travel out of the area supporting our properties outside La Crosse is infrequent but required for this position.

Requirements: 

• Knowledge and hands-on experience in repairing plumbing, HVAC systems, electrical issues, pool maintenance, carpentry, and sidewalk snow removal. Utilize troubleshooting expertise to address a diverse range of service requests promptly and professionally.
• Willingness to adjust to changes in expectations, processes and tasks as priority needs arise.
• Ability to develop professional relationships with service providers and contractors.
• Work independently with little supervision and maintain efficient work schedules. 
• Ability to work in varied climate conditions.
• Some travel required.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
