POSITION SUMMARY:

Looking for a career you can count on? We are seeking a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to support treasury activities and general accounting functions. This position will be responsible for cash reporting, account reconciliation, prepaid expenses, fixed assets, accruals, and other accounting activities as assigned.  

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

Treasury and Cash Management Responsibilities:

• Prepare daily cash reporting and monitor bank account activities
•  Assist with cash forecasting
•  Prepare and maintain cash and treasury schedules
•  Perform bank reconciliation
•  Assist with payment processing, wire/ACH activity, and other banking transactions
•  Maintain supporting documentation and appropriate internal controls over treasury

General Accounting Responsibilities:

• Maintain prepaid schedules and prepare monthly amortization schedules
•  Maintain fixed asset records, including additions, disposals, and depreciation
•  Prepare balance sheet account reconciliation
•  Assist with month end and year end close activities
•  Assist with intercompany reconciliation
•  Perform additional accounting duties as needed

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Experience with ERP systems, Microsoft Office, with an emphasis on Excel proficiency.
• Ability to generate, read, analyze, and interpret data from electronic ERP systems.
• Strong analytical and computer skills required.
• Ability to handle multiple concurrent tasks and meet strict deadlines.
• Ability to effectively communicate with management, peers, and customers.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:

• Bachelors degree or higher in accounting or related field preferred
• 2+ years accounting experience preferred
• Strong understanding of general ledger accounting and account reconciliations
• strong Microsoft Excel skills
• ERP experience preferred
