We are currently seeking an experienced Maintenance Technician to join our dynamic Maintenance Team. At CORMETECH our Maintenance Technicians are passionate about maintaining our production and processing equipment to minimize equipment downtime so that we can meet our business and client’s needs in a timely manner. Your primary role will be to maintain the physical and mechanical condition of the building, utility systems, facility, and production equipment.

What You Will Be Doing:
- Responsible for daily maintenance support and repairs of all production and facility equipment and systems.
- Bend and install conduit, pull, and terminate wires replace motors as needed.
- Troubleshoots and repairs mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical/electronic equipment, programmable controls, power supplies, drives, gages and test equipment.
- Installs, diagnoses, repairs, and maintains a variety of production and build
Work Schedule:
- 2nd Shift 3:00 p.m. - 11:30 p.m. Monday thru Friday (overtime may be required)
- 3rd Shift 11:00 p.m. - 7:30 a.m. Sunday thru Thursday (overtime may be required)
- Must possess specialized training in Industrial Maintenance Technology or equivalent experience is preferred.
- HazMat team member is required. Must be able to meet OSHA requirements as member of internal HazMat team including initial 24 hour training.
- Must be experience in electrical and mechanical maintenance. Knowledge of PLC’s and troubleshooting experience preferred.
- Must be able to drive small company vehicles; forklifts and aerial lifts.
- Have the ability to work independently or on a team with a blend of technical and interpersonal skills. Work hours subject to change based on business needs.
- Must possess computer skills in MS Excel/Word in order to enter data properly and publish reports.
- Ability to work independently with little direction as well as cooperatively on a team.

The Working Conditions:
- A variety of temperatures and humidity
- Dusty and dirty work areas
- Work is performed both in a building and outside with exposure to the elements.
The Physical Requirements:
- Frequently standing, walking, climbing, kneeling, stooping, crouching, reaching, and bending
- Dexterity of hands and fingers to grasp, pull, and turn.
- Must be able to push, pull, and lift 40 pounds frequently.

Cormetech is located in Charlotte, North Carolina, Durham North Carolina, Kings Mountain North Carolina, and Cleveland Tennessee. This position will be based out of our Durham, North Carolina location. This position will be in-person.
