Sr Project Manager - Commercial Construction
Description

Ever walked into a freshly remodeled store, with new fixtures in place, menu boards glowing, and everything opening right on schedule, and wondered who pulled that off? Now picture doing it across hundreds of locations at once. That’s what we do, and we’re looking for a Senior Project Manager to help lead the way.

Since 2004, Powerhouse has helped multi-site retail and commercial brands roll out remodels, rebrands, refreshes, and new installs nationwide. As a Senior PM, you’ll own the client relationship and the project from the first estimate to the final closeout. You’ll have a strong team behind you, our project management platform Nexa, and a development plan built around your goals.

Why you’ll love it here

You’ll join a company that keeps growing, so there’s room for you to grow too. You’ll get exposure to multiple business lines and an individualized development plan to help you reach your full potential. You’ll also coach and lead other project managers, which means your impact reaches well beyond your own projects.

What you’ll do

  • Run the show on multiple projects at once, from organization and scheduling to implementation and closeout.
  • Set customer deadlines based on the Scope of Work, and make sure clients are happy with the timeliness, accuracy, and communication they get from us.
  • Partner with other departments to build accurate estimates for supplies, manpower, and resources.
  • Build accurate, timely budget projections and present them to leadership, keeping projects on budget.
  • Oversee reporting on work progress, costs, and scheduling.
  • Lead the project management team to make sure every subcontractor and employee on site delivers quality work on time.
  • Train and coach PCs, APMs, and PMs on project management fundamentals and customer service.
  • Track milestones and tasks, and report on them to management every week.
  • Own each project through to completion, and handle issues and conflicts as they come up.
  • Lead Customer QBR meetings as needed.
  • Take on other responsibilities as assigned by management.
Requirements

 What you’ll bring

  • A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (preferred).
  • 7+ years of experience working with large customers (preferred).
  • Experience in a construction environment (preferred).
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills and advanced Excel skills (required).

What’s in it for YOU

  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance, plus Short-Term Disability, Long-Term Disability, Life Insurance, and additional voluntary plans.
  • A 401(k) retirement plan with company match.
  • PTO, 11 company holidays, and paid parental leave.
  • Wellness activities and an onsite gym.
  • Ongoing professional development and continuing education.

Ready to build something great with us? At Powerhouse, we aim to deliver quality work on time, every time, with precision, clear communication, and excellent customer service. Our goal is to make a positive and lasting impact on people, and that starts with our team.
