Supercharge your career at Powerhouse!
When a national brand needs to remodel, rebrand, or roll out changes across hundreds of locations, they call Powerhouse. We’ve been making it happen since 2004, and we’re looking for a Project Manager who loves the thrill of a well-run project: tight timelines, lots of moving parts, and the satisfaction of watching it all come together.
If you’re the person who keeps everyone on track, spots a problem before it becomes a problem, and secretly enjoys a really good schedule, we want to meet you.
Why you’ll love it here
- Room to grow: Join an industry leader with consistent growth, explore multiple business lines, and get an individualized development plan built around your goals.
- Benefits that have your back: Medical, dental, vision, short-term and long-term disability, life insurance, and additional voluntary plans.
- A future you can count on: 401(k) retirement plan with a company match.
- Time to recharge: PTO, 11 company holidays, and paid parental leave.
- Wellness built in: Wellness activities and an onsite gym.
- Never stop learning: Ongoing professional development and continuing education.
What you’ll do
You’ll own the client relationship and the project itself, from the first estimate to the final closeout. Day to day, that looks like:
- Run the show: Organize, schedule, implement, and close out multiple projects at once.
- Keep your promises: Set and meet deadlines per the Scope of Work, and keep customers happy with timely, accurate, and clear communication.
- Nail the numbers: Estimate supplies, manpower, and resources accurately, and make timely budget projections that stay within constraints.
- Keep everyone in the loop: Report on progress, costs, and scheduling. Track milestones for management, share project goals with the whole team, and document results.
- Protect the quality: Partner with subcontractors and employees to make sure the work is done right and on time.
- Lead and grow your team: Supervise Assistant Project Managers and Project Coordinators. Plan and assign their work, give clear written and verbal direction, review work for accuracy, make sure policies and procedures are followed, and complete performance reviews. Your team keeps documents, completion photos, and cost trackers accurate and on time.
- Close it out right: Complete invoicing accurately and on time when a project wraps.
- Jump in where needed: Take on other responsibilities as assigned by management.
What you bring
- Previous project management experience
- At least 1 year of experience working with large customers (preferred)
- Experience in a construction environment (preferred)
- Ability to pass an MVR, background check, and drug test
