Ready to run the show?
At Powerhouse, no two weeks look the same. One day it’s a rollout across hundreds of locations, the next it’s a curveball from a client that needs a smart fix by Friday. If that sounds like your kind of fun, keep reading.
We’re looking for an Associate Director to own the day-to-day success of a segment of our operations. You’ll lead a strong team, partner with senior-level clients, and help shape where the business goes next. It’s a seat at the leadership table with real impact on both people and results.
What you’ll do
- Help shape the playbook. Work alongside other leaders to build, interpret, and roll out the policies and procedures that keep us running smoothly.
- Think before you leap. Weigh the impact of decisions and changes before they go live.
- Get everyone rowing in the same direction. Keep your team aligned on shared goals and hitting functional targets together.
- Clear the path. Spot roadblocks early and help your team find creative ways around them.
- Own the numbers. Build and track budgets weekly, keep financial projections current, and share results with leadership.
- Be the person clients trust. Build lasting relationships with senior-level clients.
- Team up at the top. Collaborate with fellow senior leaders to make sure company objectives are met.
- Set the vision. Develop short- and long-term goals that move the organization forward.
- Grow great people. Train, motivate, mentor, and retain a team that balances strong staffing with profitability and growth.
- Roll with it. Take on other projects as leadership needs.
How you’ll lead
You’ll manage your team with diplomacy, integrity, and accountability. You’re the steady hand when things get intense, you handle conflict fairly, and you keep confidential matters confidential. You’ll run team meetings, complete performance reviews, and make sure we stay true to our standards.
What you bring
- 10+ years of experience working with large customers, ideally in construction, retail, or restaurants (preferred)
- Experience analyzing financial data and building reports and project projections
- A bachelor’s degree from a four-year college or university (preferred)
You’ll thrive here if you:
- See around corners and turn future possibilities into bold strategies
- Plan and prioritize so commitments get met and goals stay aligned
- Deliver results, even when things get tough
- Build tight-knit teams that bring diverse skills and perspectives to shared goals
- Earn trust through honesty, integrity, and authenticity
