Accounting Specialist I

Accounting | Non-Exempt

Hybrid: This role is required to be in office Tuesday-Thursday (***Mondays and Fridays are eligible for remote work!)

Job Range: $20.03 - $25.03/hour

shift: Monday - Friday, 8:30 am - 5:00 pm

At 4Front Credit Union, strong financial operations help us deliver on our promise to our members and communities. As an Accounting Specialist I, you’ll play an important role behind the scenes—helping keep our financial records accurate, organized, and running smoothly.

You’ll work alongside our Accounting team to reconcile accounts, support reporting, investigate discrepancies, and keep important financial processes moving forward. What You’ll Do

• Prepare general ledger entries and reconcile accounts with accuracy and attention to detail
• Support accounts payable, invoice processing, and month-end activities
• Help prepare monthly, quarterly, annual, and regulatory financial reports
• Research discrepancies, identify solutions, and work with other teams to correct      transactions
• Maintain organized, accurate financial records and documentation
• Contribute ideas that improve accounting processes, reporting, and overall accuracy

What You’ll Bring

• An associate degree in Accounting or equivalent work experience is preferred
• 1–2 years of accounting or financial experience is preferred; financial institution experience is a plus
• A basic understanding of accounting principles, including general ledger and reconciliations
• Strong attention to detail, math, analytical, and problem-solving skills
• Experience with Microsoft Office, including Excel
• The ability to manage multiple priorities while working both independently and collaboratively
