Trenam Law has a need for a Commercial Real Estate Lending Associate and is seeking candidates with 4+ years of legal experience for an associate position in the firm’s real estate practice, to be located in our St Petersburg office. Will work with lenders to manage all phases of lending transactions to closing, and draft and review loan documents. 

Essential Functions:

• Expertise with government backed loans (SBA) is needed. 
• Able to assume significant responsibility for deal management. 
• Will work closely with paralegals to attain title clearance. 
• Review all loan related documents to ensure quality and completion prior to closing. 

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate an intellectual aptitude for complex transactions, an ability to work and think independently, well-developed writing skills, and good interpersonal skills. There will be an expectation for growth in professional responsibility and client development, as well as an aptitude for self-motivation, working as a team and taking ownership of projects.
