Press Operator, Phoenix, AZ
Reporting to the Plant Manager, the Press Operator will be responsible for performing tasks that support production operations, including using a semi-automatic metal pressing machine and measurement devices to meet daily quotas ensuring high-quality products.
Expected Hours: Full-time Monday to Friday, 5:00 AM –1:30 PM, with possible overtime on Saturday and Sundays to meet production deadlines
Responsibilities:
- Safely operate production machinery and equipment according to established procedures.
- Use basic computer skills to navigate and input data into production systems to track progress, document results, and communicate effectively with the team.
- Operate measurement devices such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges to measure products and ensure they meet company standards.
- Meet daily quotas to achieve production targets consistently and effectively, contributing to team efficiency and overall output.
- Ensure quality by inspecting products during and after production to maintain high-quality standards reporting any defects or issues to supervisors immediately.

- Aptitude to use a computer and various software applications.
- General knowledge of manufacturing procedures preferred.
- Highschool Diploma or equivalent
Work Environment and Physical Demands:
- General office and manufacturing environment.
- Exposure to hazards associated with manufacturing equipment and tools.
- Ability to lift, push, and pull up to 10 pounds.
- Prolonged standing and sitting.
- Walking to various stations or areas of the production floor.
- Must have good finger & hand strength/dexterity.
- Repetitive hand movements for tasks like assembling pellets.
- Upper body range of motion
- Ability to handle small tools, parts, and machinery with precision.
- Visual acuity for reading measurements, assembly instructions, and monitoring equipment.
- Hearing ability to detect alarms, machinery sounds, or verbal instructions in a noisy environment.
- Will be required to wear appropriate PPE as outlined by company safety protocols such as vinyl gloves, and safety glasses.
