Metal Finishing & Fabrication Technician (similar to  automotive bodywork.)  

Work within our highly skilled team, to prepare, colorize, protect, cast and fabricate artworks.

Key Responsibilities:

• Able to consistently produce high quality finishes  
• Metal surface preparation skills, as is required in automotive bodywork
• Exceptional eye for detail
• General understanding of finishes and artwork context to inform maintenance recommendations for outgoing works;
• Work within a highly skilled, multi-disciplinary team
• Careful handling of completed fragile works to crating/delivery teams
• May assist the Lead Painter in application of paint, primer, and clear-coats to various metals (bronze, aluminum, stainless);

• Minimum 2 years of relevant experience working with metals
• Metal finishing & fabrication  (i.e.; Automotive bodywork, sculptural, automotive and paint)  
• Other metal finishing & fabrication experience a plus;   
• Ability to work under pressure and with minimal supervision;
• Excellent team player;
• Strong work ethic and focus on delivery;
• Appreciation for the art world.
