Description

  

The role of a Sakurai Machine Operator is ideal for someone with hands-on experience operating Sakurai screen or offset printing machines, who takes pride in producing high-quality printed materials. You'll be an essential part of a team committed to precision, efficiency, and craftsmanship.

  

Key Responsibilities:

  • Set up, operate, and monitor Sakurai screen or offset printing machine in accordance with job specifications.
  • Adjust machine settings to maintain consistent quality and efficiency throughout the run.
  • Load substrates and manage ink levels and print alignment to meet production goals.
  • Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to minimize downtime.
  • Inspect finished work for quality standards including clarity, registration, and consistency.
  • Record production information and report any mechanical or quality issues to the supervisor.
  • Collaborate with press assistants, quality control, and the production team to optimize workflow.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety standards in the work area.
  • All other duties as assigned.
Requirements

  

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Familiarity with color matching, ink handling, and setup for specialty jobs.
  • Forklift certification or willingness to obtain is a plus.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced print shop environment.

  

Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 1+ year of experience operating Sakurai or similar printing presses preferred.
  • Understanding of screen printing or offset processes and mechanical operation.
  • Strong attention to detail with a focus on quality and accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks efficiently.
  • Must be able to work schedule as needed.

  

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
  • Good manual dexterity and vision for detailed inspection tasks.
Salary Description
$16.00 to start depending on experience
