Job Title: Seasonal Special Events Team Cleaner – Oceanfront Restrooms
Location: Oceanfront Area (Outdoor Position)
Job Type: Seasonal, Part-Time
Pay: Starting at $13.00 per hour
Position Summary:
We are seeking hardworking and dependable individuals for seasonal part-time positions as Special Events Team Cleaners at the Oceanfront Restrooms. This role is essential in maintaining clean, safe, and welcoming facilities during the busy event season. Cleaners are responsible for a variety of cleaning duties and will report directly to the Area Manager. Please note: this is an outdoor position and requires working during high-traffic events in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Clean interior areas of restroom facilities, including doors, floors, mirrors, windows, sinks, commodes, and stalls
- Disinfect high-touch surfaces such as countertops, door handles, and grab rails
- Monitor and maintain cleaning supply inventory; notify the Area Manager when supplies are low
- Empty trash and recycling bins
- Sweep sand, mop, and power wash floors as needed
- Maintain cleanliness within a 10-foot perimeter around the building
- Operate cleaning equipment such as pressure washers, floor scrubbers, and buffers (as needed)
- Report unsafe conditions or maintenance issues to the Area Manager
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Work Environment:
This position is outdoors at the Oceanfront Restrooms and involves working during peak tourism and event seasons. Cleaners will work in areas with high foot traffic and frequent live entertainment. Must be comfortable working in various weather conditions.
Work Schedule:
- Seasonal, part-time hours including weekends, holidays, and evenings as needed
- Must be willing to travel to various job sites along the Oceanfront

Education & Experience:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Prior cleaning experience is helpful but not required—on-the-job training provided
- Opportunities for cleaning-related certifications available (e.g., biohazard cleaning)
Skills & Qualifications:
- Good communication and teamwork skills
- Familiarity with cleaning products and proper use
- Ability to lift and move up to 50 pounds
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Understanding of safety practices when working with cleaning chemicals
- Ability to manage time effectively and work independently
