The Wright Center for Community Health, and its affiliated entity, The Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education, is seeking a Board-Certified Geriatrician to join our dynamic team in Northeastern Pennsylvania. This is a unique opportunity to provide high-quality, compassionate care within a Federally Qualified Health Center Look-Alike (FQHC-LA) setting while also contributing to the next generation of geriatric care providers.  TWC is proud to be a part of an "Age-Friendly Health System" recognized by UCLA Health and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.  Additionally, TWC is a partner in the Age Friendly Lackawanna Collaborative sponsored by the Moses Taylor Foundation and the United Way of Lackawanna, Wayne and Pike counties.


About the Role:

  • Serve as a core member of our interdisciplinary clinical team within a Patient-Centered Medical Home (PCMH) model.
  • Provide comprehensive care to our aging population in a community-focused environment.
  • Play a key role in our ACGME-accredited Geriatric Fellowship Program as core faculty, with potential for an educational leadership role based on experience and credentials.

Requirements

 MD/DO Degree

Graduate Medical Education in an ACGME Accredited Residency Program

Current certification or possess qualifications acceptable to the Review Committee

Board Certification in Geriatrics

DEA Certification

Valid physician license for State of Pennsylvania

Current BLS, ACLS

Valid driver’s license

Experience with electronic health records
