Description
The Head Boys Volleyball Coach-High School is responsible for leading and developing a competitive, character-driven baseball program that reflects the values and mission of Gilbert Christian Schools. This position requires a strong commitment to mentoring student-athletes, fostering their athletic and spiritual growth, and promoting teamwork, discipline, and sportsmanship.
Candidate must agree with and support Gilbert Christian’s Statement of Faith.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, organize, and lead all aspects of the volleyball program, including practices, matches, and off-season conditioning.
- Model and instill Christian values in student-athletes, integrating faith into coaching and team activities.
- Mentor players academically, athletically, and spiritually, supporting their holistic development.
- Maintain a safe, respectful, and Christ-centered team environment.
- Coordinate with school administration, athletic department, and parents.
- Ensure compliance with school policies and athletic regulations.
- Manage team budget, equipment, and scheduling needs.
Qualifications:
- Prior coaching experience at the high school level or higher preferred.
- Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
- A personal commitment to Christian faith and the ability to serve as a spiritual role model.

- Current AZ IVP Fingerprint Clearance Card
- Current CPR & First Aid Certificate
- NFHS Completion certificate for Fundamentals of Coaching & Concussion in Sports
