UCFS is accepting inquires from Psychiatric Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) students looking for a placement opportunity. This position is designed for students currently enrolled in a psychiatric nursing program who are looking to gain hands-on experience in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a passion for mental health and a commitment to providing high-quality care to patients.

This placement will offer the opportunity to:

• Assist in the assessment and evaluation of patients with psychiatric disorders
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement treatment plans
• Provide direct patient care under the supervision of licensed psychiatric APRNs
• Participate in patient education and support initiatives
• Document patient interactions and progress in accordance with facility policies
• Train with our psychiatric team to enhance clinical skills

• Currently enrolled in an accredited Psychiatric APRN program
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
