**This position is partially remote. Candidates will be required to work in the office a minimum of three days a week**
Title: PROJECT MANAGER
Department: Water & Wastewater
Reports To: Department Manager
Education: Bachelor of Science Degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent
Registration: Professional Engineer in State of Indiana, or ability to obtain within 12 months
Experience: Not less than 8 years in Water & Wastewater Engineering
Duties:
Efficiently complete an entire set of contract documents, including Plans, Specifications, Quantities, and Estimate
Conduct meetings, including composing meeting agendas and minutes
Client contact
Work with and manage sub-consultants
Work with and coordinate with other internal departments
Assist in assembling Supplements, Proposals, and Engineer’s Reports
Sign Final Tracings
Meet deadlines
Alert Department Manager immediately upon realization of a problem on a project
Maintain the confidentiality of information regarding our clients and company practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Skills:
Able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must possess strong communication skills
Must possess excellent organizational skills
Able to work in a “team” concept and direct the team in an efficient manner
Able to efficiently work on multiple assignments at one time
Proficient with a computer and Microsoft Excel and Word and working knowledge of AutoCad
Able to efficiently complete an entire set of contract documents
Must represent the firm professionally in public
Must be able to evaluate various water and wastewater equipment and materials
Must be able to prepare permit applications
Must be able to attend evening meetings with clients as needed
Must possess the ability to interact with officials at all levels of government
Physical Requirements:
Able to work seated for 9 or more hours per work day
Able to work 40 or more hours per work week, as needed
Able to work outdoors traversing uneven or difficult terrain
Able to travel throughout Indiana including overnight stays
Other Requirements:
Possess a valid Indiana driver’s license
Agree to abide by the personnel policies identified in the Company Policy
