JOB SUMMARY
The Line Cook at The Foundry Room is responsible for executing high-quality dishes with consistency, speed, and attention to detail. This role is ideal for a cook who takes pride in their craft, thrives in a fast-paced kitchen, and understands that every plate contributes to the overall guest experience.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
· Prepare and execute menu items according to recipes, standards, and presentation guidelines.
· Maintain consistency and quality during all service periods.
· Set up and break down assigned stations efficiently before and after service.
· Follow proper food handling, sanitation, and safety procedures at all times.
· Communicate clearly with chefs and kitchen teammates to support smooth service flow.
· Monitor food quality and freshness, reporting any issues to kitchen leadership.
· Assist with prep work, stocking, and organization to keep the kitchen running efficiently.
· Maintain a clean, organized, and professional workstation.
· Support other kitchen stations as needed during service.
· Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.
WHAT YOU BRING
· Previous line cook or kitchen experience in a full-service or elevated dining environment preferred.
· Working knowledge of basic cooking techniques, knife skills, and kitchen equipment.
· Strong sense of urgency, organization, and attention to detail.
· Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining quality standards.
· Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
