Description
- Performing daily inspections of forklift
- Greeting customers when arriving and departing the facility
- Fueling Marina vessels
- Fueling forklift and performing preventative maintenance which requires lifting, bending, pulling, and pushing
- Operating forklift while removing boats from a dry storage rack of multiple levels and transporting them to other racks and to and from the water
- Pulling
- boats off of the forklift into the water and pulling boats from the water onto the forklift which involves lifting and pulling of often heavy loads
- Spot other drivers as they are moving boats with the forklift
- Manage space availability for boats in the basin and securing boats to dock
- Occasionally required to reconfigure metal rack beams and bunker boards
- Complying with the Company's Health and Safety Policy and recognized good working practices
- Complying with marina regulations regarding dress and expected modes of behavior. Offering a personal and personable service when in contact with customers so as to enhance the reputation of the marina

Requirements
Job Requirements
- Must have previous forklift or heavy equipment experience
- Marina lift training will be provided
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

- Knowledge of appropriate safety standards and protocols

Salary Description
$18 an hour
